A new claim about the Realme GT 6 says that it will be armed with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. This is opposed to earlier leaks about the model’s SoC, which was initially reported as the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. However, according to reports, there will be a dedicated Realme GT 6 for the Chinese market, which will be armed with the said powerful processor.
The Realme GT 6 is expected to arrive on June 20 in India and other global markets. In line with this, leaks involving the device continue to progress. The latest one focuses on the model’s chip, which is believed to be Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
This has caused confusion among fans, as earlier reports claimed that it would instead be a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. However, it is rumored that Realme will offer a specific variant of the GT 6 in China. This version could use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the global variant of the phone will stick with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The use of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the global version of the Realme GT 6 affirms speculations that the model is a rebranded Realme GT Neo 6, which was launched in China in May. In this case, fans outside China should expect to get the device with the following details:
