Oppo Find X8 Ultra prototype leaks ahead of rumored March debut

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is allegedly coming in March, and its prototype has leaked online.

New claims say that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will debut next month. This is not impossible, especially with the phone making the headlines in the past weeks.

In a new leak that has surfaced, we get to see the model’s alleged prototype. According to the image, the phone appears to have a flat display with thin bezels of the same size on all sides. There is also a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera on the upper center of the screen.

On the back, there is an extra-large circular camera island. This corroborates an earlier leak showing the module’s schematic layout. As we noted earlier, the island has a dual-tone design and features a dual-tier construction.

The huge cutout at the top center could be its rumored 50MP Sony IMX882 6x zoom periscope telephoto. Below could be the 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera unit and a 50MP Sony IMX906 3x zoom periscope telephoto camera, placed on the left and right sections, respectively. On the bottom part of the module could be the 50MP Sony IMX882 ultrawide unit. There are also two smaller cutouts inside the island, and it could be the phone’s autofocus laser and multispectral units. The flash unit, on the other hand, is placed outside the module.

Currently, here’s everything we know about the phone:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip
