The Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max are reportedly sharing similarities in their camera systems, but the latter is expected to get a better telephoto unit.
The Chinese giant is now aggressively teasing the series in its domestic market. Recently, the company confirmed that both Pro models would boast a rear secondary display. Nonetheless, that is not the only highlight of the phones, as both are also expected to impress in the camera department.
Recent leaks that surfaced online divulged the details of the cameras of the two models. According to a well-known tipster, the Pro model boasts a triple 50MP Leica camera setup with a 50MP f/1.67 main camera, a 17mm ultrawide, and an f3.0 115mm telephoto unit with a 5X optical zoom.
The Pro Max model is also said to house the same main and ultrawide Leica camera units. However, the variant is rumored to have a better telephoto with a wider f/2.6 aperture.
According to earlier reports, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max will arrive with a flat 2K display with LIPO tech for thinner bezels, a 7500mAh± battery, and 100W charging support. The entire series is also rumored to house the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
