Realme is giving its upcoming GT 8 Pro model a huge twist: a switchable camera module.
The Realme model is expected to arrive next month. Ahead of its unveiling, we’ve already heard many key details about the series, especially the Pro model. Aside from its key specs, we also see its alleged live units in the wild. However, confusion ensued after some leaked images showed opposing designs. Well, now we know why.

According to the latest poster shared by the brand, the Realme GT 8 Pro will actually feature a swappable camera island. This explains why we saw the phone earlier in a leak with a circular camera module and with an irregularly shaped camera island in the next. As per Realme, the phone will also have a square-shaped interchangeable module. It is unknown, however, if all three module designs will arrive inside the package for free.
According to earlier reports, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 2K 144Hz AMOLED, a 200MP periscope, a 7000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, an R1 gaming graphics chip, Android 16-based Realme UI 6, 120W charging, and a 50MP main camera.
