Exec: Xiaomi 17 series sales 30% higher vs. predecessor

Xiaomi president Lu Weibing claimed that the Xiaomi 17 series has been a huge success in China. The executive shared that it collected 30% more sales than its predecessor.

The Xiaomi 17 series is now official. While its availability is still limited to China, the brand shared that the lineup has already proven its success in the market. As per Lu Weibing, the brand outperformed the Xiaomi 15 lineup by 30% in terms of sales. 

The company also shared that the sales of the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max grew even further. According to earlier reports, the latter accounted for 50% of the series’ first-day sales. Now, the Pro series’ contribution to the lineup’s total sales has reached 80%.

Sadly, it is unknown whether the Pro and Pro Max models would also be introduced in the global market. On a positive note, we expect the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the vanilla model to arrive internationally soon. To recall, here are the specs of the entire Xiaomi 17 series:
