According to a new leak, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro will be available in two chip options, depending on the RAM variant.
The Mate 80 series is scheduled to arrive next week. In line with this, the company has already revealed the design, colorways, and configurations of the lineup models. However, it keeps its lips tight about the key specifications of the devices. This is unsurprising when it comes to the chip of the devices, as the company has always been secretive about its Kirin chips. Yet, a new leak confirms that the Pro variant of the lineup uses two kinds of Kirin 9030 series SoCs.

According to the retail box of the model that surfaced online, the said model comes in two variants: SGT-AL50 (12GB) and SGT-AL00 (16GB). While the 12GB utilizes the Kirin 9030, the other variant houses the Kirin 9030 Pro processor.
This is not new for Huawei, since we also encountered the same occurrence in the Huawei Mate 70 Air. To recall, the phone debuted in two chip options, depending on its configuration. The 12GB/256GB (CN¥4199) and 12GB/512GB (CN¥4699) variants feature the Kirin 9020B, while the 16GB/256GB (CN¥4699) and 16GB/512GB (CN¥5199) options utilize the Kirin 9020A SoC.
The Huawei Mate 80 Pro is coming in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. It is unknown whether the other models also vary in terms of chips.
