Xiaomi reveals Poco F8 series batteries

As expected, the Poco F8 series, a rebadged version of the Redmi K90 lineup, will arrive with smaller batteries.

The Chinese giant has recently started teasing the upcoming Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra in the global market. It also revealed their design, further confirming speculations of their direct link with the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max. 

Although rebranded phones, the Poco models are expected to differ from their Redmi counterparts, particularly in battery size. Now, Poco has confirmed this by revealing that the Pro and Ultra models have 6,210mAh and 6,500mAh batteries, respectively. To compare, the K90 has a 7100mAh battery, while the Redmi K90 Pro Max has a 7560mAh battery.

In terms of the chip, nonetheless, the brand recently confirmed that the phones will adopt the same SoCs as their Chinese siblings: Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Pro and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the Ultra.
