An alleged Xiaomi 17 Ultra unit was pictured wearing a privacy case. Despite its casing, the leak shows some of its camera lenses.
The Xiaomi 17 series will soon be joined by the Ultra model, which is expected to also arrive globally. Amid the wait, we’ve been hearing several leaks about the phone. The latest involves its live unit image.
The phone was seen wearing a protective case to conceal its actual design. However, the case features cutouts, revealing the lenses of the unit, including its additional sensors and a huge periscope telephoto.

According to earlier reports, the Chinese brand is keeping the circular camera island design in the phone. However, from the four rear cameras of predecessors, the Chinese giant is reportedly reducing it to three.
Despite having fewer lenses, the phone reportedly has better cameras than its predecessor. Leaks suggest that Xiaomi will focus on using larger lenses this time, with some tipsters stating that the company is adding a new Leica coating to the cameras.
As per rumors, the lenses the phone houses include the 50MP OVX10500U for the main unit, the 200MP S5KHPE for telephoto, and 50MP OV50M or 50MP S5KJN5 for the ultrawide. The selfie camera, on the other hand, could arrive with a 50MP OV50M lens.
