According to a new leak, the Reno series will soon welcome its first official compact model: the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini.
The Reno 15 series is already available in China, and the Reno 15c recently joined it. Soon, the lineup is expected to arrive globally. Interestingly, a more recent tip says that the series will be expanded further with the addition of a Pro Mini variant.
To recall, prior to the release of the series, we had heard about the arrival of a compact model, which would have been called the Oppo Reno 15 Mini. However, there was some confusion as reports noted that the vanilla model would actually be the compact model, which was later confirmed by its release.
However, a new leak has revived the rumor, meaning there would be two compact models in the series. This time, however, the Reno 15 Pro Mini will be the first compact model of the lineup.
According to the report citing industry sources, the device will be available in a “unique” Glacier White colorway with a special ribbon design. As expected, it will also have a compact 6.32″ AMOLED. The screen reportedly features 1.6mm-thin bezels, and it will generally weigh 187g and be 7.99mm thick.
Other details allegedly coming to the Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini include a glass back panel and triple protection ratings (IP66, IP67, and IP69). It is unknown if it will be based on the Reno 15 Pro model, which offers the following:
