Realme 16 Pro series goes official with $355 base price

The Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ have finally arrived in the market, featuring a new design and upgrades. 

To start, the series features the LumaColor Image technology, making it the first of the brand’s devices to use it. In addition to the upgraded camera system, the new technology is expected to deliver better color accuracy and more natural-looking skin tones. With this, users can enjoy customized tones (e.g., Vintage, Fresh, Neon, Vivid, Lively, and more), HyperRAW, InstantSnap, and more.

As reported earlier, the brand collaborated with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa to create the series’ new look called the Urban Wild Design.

Both the Pro and Pro+ have a massive 7000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging. The processors, however, differ between the two smartphones. While the Pro model features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max SoC, the Pro+ is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.

The Realme 16 Pro+ is available in Master Gold, Master Grey, and Camellia Pink color options, with the last one serving as India’s exclusive variant. It comes in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB, priced at ₹39,999 ($443), ₹41,999 ($465), and ₹44,999 ($498), respectively. 

On the other hand, the Realme 16 Pro comes in Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and Orchid Purple. Like the Pro Plus’ Camellia Pink, the last option is also exclusive to India. Configurations include 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB, which cost ₹31,999 ($355) and ₹36,999 ($410), respectively. 

Shipments for both models will start this Thursday.
