OnePlus has finally lifted the veil on the highly-awaited OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V models.
The two devices share many similarities. Yet, the vanilla model is the more powerful of the two, with the V variant serving as a more affordable option, albeit with some downgrades.
The devices are almost similar in terms of the camera design, but the V model has fewer cameras on its back. Its SoC is limited to Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, while the standard version is powered by the newer Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip. It also has additional chips for the 330Hz touch sampling rate, Fengchi Game Kernel, and G1 Wi-Fi, with the last two not present in the V variant.
Other sections where the two differ include their RAM (LPDDR5X vs. LPDDR4X), storage (UFS 4.1 vs. UFS 3.1), refresh rate (165Hz vs. 144Hz), and connectivity (Wi-Fi 7 vs. Wi-Fi 6).
The OnePlus Turbo 6 comes in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations, priced at CN¥2,300 ($330), CN¥2,800 ($400), CN¥2,600 ($370), and CN¥3,100 ($440), respectively. The Turbo 6V, meanwhile, is available in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB options, which sell for CN¥1,900 ($270), CN¥2,100 ($300), and CN¥2,400 ($340), respectively.
