Xiaomi showcased the design of the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The brand also confirmed that the handheld features a massive 9000mAh cell.
The Redmi device is launching in China this month. According to Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing, it could be “the best choice in the 2.5K price range for 2026.”
Now, the brand has published the first official photos of the device, which has an undeniably design as its predecessor. The smartphone boasts a flat design for its display, side frames, and back frame. It also has a vertical pill-shaped camera island with two circular lens cutouts.
The posters also confirm that it comes in a Sea Breeze Blue colorway (other options available) and has a metal frame and a fiberglass backplate.
Lu Weibing also shared that the phone will feature a huge 9000mAh battery. The device could be the earlier-rumored Turbo 5 Pro, which is said to house the Dimensity 9500s chip. It could also offer a 100W charging speed, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and full water resistance. The standard Turbo 5 is also believed to offer a battery with a capacity of over 9000mAh, 100W charging, a flat 1.5K LTPS display with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, metal side frames, a thickness of 8.5mm, and full waterproof protection.
