Reputable leaker Digital Chat Station suggests that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will feature an improved camera system with two 200MP lenses.
The Xiaomi 17 series debuted in China in September 2025 and will soon infiltrate the global market alongside the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra model. While the international markets still await the devices, the Chinese giant is allegedly already working on its next numbered flagship series, the Xiaomi 18 lineup.
As usual, the lineup is expected to include the Pro variants. While the brand remains silent about any details of the smartphones, DCS seemingly teased the alleged Xiaomi 18 Pro model of the series.
The leaker’s recent post talks about a 6.3″ device, suggesting it is the successor of the Xiaomi 17 Pro, which also has the same display size. According to the tip, the phone is being tested with two 200MP lenses, a huge upgrade over its predecessor’s triple 50MP camera setup, which features a 50MP Light Hunter 950L ƒ/1.67 23mm main camera with OIS; a 50MP ƒ/3.0 periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom, 20cm macro, and OIS; and a 50MP ƒ/2.4 102° ultrawide unit.
This is interesting, since only the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the only model in the series to offer a 200MP camera. Details about the other lenses of the phone were not revealed, but we assume that the 18 Pro will also get a 50MP ultrawide.
According to earlier reports, the lineup will also adopt the rear display of the Xiaomi 17 series. This is not surprising, since the Chinese giant had earlier confirmed that it will continue using the tech in its future devices and will even add more features and capabilities.
