Lava has started teasing the Lava Bold 2 5G, which is set to be unveiled in the Indian market on March 13.
The news follows the debut of the Lava Bold N2 4G in the country. According to its Amazon microsite, the phone features a flat design with a horizontal rectangular camera island.
It will replace the original Lava Bold 5G, which arrived in India in April last year. To recall, it offers a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip and a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support. The phone is also IP64 rated and boasts a 6.67″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen with a 16MP selfie camera and even an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. Its back, on the other hand, houses a 64MP main camera.
The OG Bold’s base 4GB/128GB configuration was priced at ₹10,499 ($123), so we expect the Lava Bold 2 5G to be priced similarly.
