Oppo has announced that some of its series will get a price increase. OnePlus, a subsidiary of Oppo, will also be affected.
Several smartphone manufacturers are facing a significant challenge as memory costs continue to rise amid the AI boom. In line with this, some brands have recently started increasing prices on their latest models. However, new devices are not the only ones affected. According to Oppo, even the models it is already offering in the market would also feel this effect.
According to the Chinese company, its A and K series will face price adjustments. Additionally, OnePlus will also experience it, albeit the company didn’t specify which series would be affected.
On a positive note, Oppo shared that the Find, Reno, and Pad series would not get any increase.

The news is not a surprise since Vivo and iQOO, which (like Oppo) are also under the BBK Electronics company, also increased the prices of several models in India, including those under the Vivo T4 and iQOO Z10 series. Realme and Nothing have also observed the hike, while Xiaomi has promised to offer “various ways” to mitigate its impact on consumers.
