Redmi teases’ new hero’ model in India

Redmi will soon introduce a new smartphone to the Indian market, and it is being teased as a pretty powerful model.

The brand did not name the phone in the clip, but gave a heavy focus on an R logo. It is unknown if it is a nod to the R series, but it is pretty vague since Redmi starts with the same letter.

Speculation suggested it could be the Redmi 17R. However, that might not be the case since the Redmi 15R is China-exclusive.

The latest Redmi leak circulating online is about the Redmi K90 Ultra, which is believed to be armed with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, a 10,000mAh battery, a 6.8-inch 1.5K 165Hz LTPS OLED display with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, a metal frame, and support for both 100W wired and fast wireless charging. However, it is important to note that the phone is expected to launch in China first, and there’s no certainty if it will debut in India since its predecessor didn’t.

As such, is it a new Redmi R series in India? We’re not exactly sure. Yet, we expect to hear more about the phone in the coming days.

Stay tuned for updates!
