Oppo has revealed new details about the camera system of the Find X9 Ultra and published its first sample shots. Meanwhile, a tipster claims that the phone will be launched next month.
Almost all the details about the Ultra phone have already been revealed, thanks to leaks online and Oppo’s recent announcements. Most recently, Oppo Find series product manager Zhuo Shijie affirmed reports that the handheld features a 50MP Samsung JNL f/3.5 periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and OIS. The camera is said to offer a 230mm native 10x optical zoom and 460mm 20x optical-quality zoom.
To showcase its power, Oppo shared photos taken with the phone’s 10x periscope telephoto lens. The shot is then compared to the sample captured by another model’s 10x teleconverter.
According to earlier reports, the phone will be armed with a 200MP Sony LYTIA901 1/1.12″ 23mm main camera, a 50MP 1/2.76″ 15mm Samsung JN5 ultrawide, a 200MP OmniVision OV52A 1/1.28″ 70mm periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP Samsung JNL periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom. The device is also expected to be offered with a detachable 300mm telephoto extender.
According to reputable leaker Yogesh Brar, the device will be announced in China and globally on April 20. Its sales, meanwhile, will allegedly take place in the first week of May.
