Reno 16 series’ Oppo Bubble detachable display confirmed ahead of May 26 debut

Oppo has finally revealed the earlier rumored Oppo Bubble accessory for the Oppo Reno 16 series.

The lineup will arrive in China on May 26. The brand will unveil several other creations alongside the series on that day, including the Oppo Bubble. According to the first and official teaser of the attachment, it will be an additional accessory that is detachable. It will serve as a rear display, allowing users to take selfies with the main camera for higher-resolution shots. It can also be useful for other purposes, including for display notifications and fill light.

Interestingly, the same accessory is also expected to be offered for the Chinese version of the Honor 600 Pro. It is also detachable and comes in a circular form factor.

As for the Reno 16 series itself, it is believed that the vanilla model will be offered in Fairy Purple, Lucky Clover, Black Horse, and Heartbeat Star. The Pro, on the other hand, comes in Dream Blue, Black Horse, and Heartbeat Star.

As previously reported, both the standard and Pro models have a metal frame and, interestingly, the same rear camera system, which features a 200MP HP5 main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto. The Oppo Reno 16 Pro will start at CNY4,000.
