According to a new report, the Oppo Reno 16 series is set to launch in India in July and will feature four models.
On Monday, the brand will unveil the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro in China. As in the past, the lineup is expected to arrive in global markets a month later. According to a report, the schedule is now scheduled for a July debut in India.
Interestingly, the lineup will include four models. In addition to the vanilla and Pro models, the series is reportedly also introducing the Reno 16 Pro Mini and Reno 16c. To recall, India currently offers the Oppo Reno 15c and Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini, as well as the Pro and standard models.
Back to the Reno 16 series, we expect the vanilla model to come in Heartbeat Star, Galaxy Purple, and Midnight Black, with configurations including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. Meanwhile, the Pro model also comes in the same colors, except for the Galaxy Purple, which is replaced with Dream Blue. As for its configurations, it will be offered in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB.
Both the standard and Pro models reportedly have a metal frame and, interestingly, the same rear camera system, which features a 200MP HP5 main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope telephoto. The standard model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 chip, while the Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s. As per rumors, the Oppo Reno 16 Pro will start at CNY4,000, and the lineup will support a detachable rear display accessory.
