The Oppo Find X9 is facing a steep price increase in the Indian market.
The series first landed in the said country in November last year. It came with the 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB, which were originally priced at ₹74,999 ($845) and ₹84,999 ($960), respectively.
Now, a tipster claims the phone’s pricing will soon be officially increased in the country. The device is said to get a ₹10,000 ($105) hike. Its base configuration will soon be offered at ₹84,999, while the other variant’s new price will be ₹94,999.
The brand has yet to confirm the matter on its website, but some platforms, like Reliance Digital, have already implemented the move.
The decision will help Oppo justify the price of its recently launched Find X9s model in India. To recall, despite being the budget variant in the series, it arrived with a higher base price tag (₹79,999) than the Find X9.
