It seems the Vivo X300 is silently being discontinued in the Indian market.
The X300 series debuted in the country last December. Despite being around in the market for only six months, the phone is now disappearing from various platforms and offline stores, including Flipkart and Amazon.
It is important to note, however, that the device remains available on the Vivo India website, so it is still best to take things with a pinch of salt.
Yet, if the claims are true, it remains a rational move for the brand, since the FE variant, despite being the budget variant in the series, debuted at a higher price than the vanilla model. To recall, the X300 has a base price of ₹75,999, while the FE model starts at ₹79,999. To correct this, Vivo could either remove the X300 from the Indian market or increase its price.
