The Lava Shark 2 5G has debuted as a budget model in India, featuring a huge 6000mAh battery.
The new Lava model follows the arrival of the Lava Shark 2 4G in October last year. To recall, the said phone arrived with a Unisoc T7250 4G chip and a 5000mAh battery. Now, the brand has improved those areas by adding a 5G chip and a larger 6000mAh cell. Moreover, it runs Android 16, a newer OS, while other areas remain the same.
However, it is important to note that it has a downgraded camera. While the 4G variant has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP selfie camera, the new model has a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP front unit.
The device comes in Sonar Gold and Arya Blue colorways. It is available in a single 4GB/64GB configuration, priced at ₹11,999. Sales will start on June 10.
