According to a recent tip, the Realme 16x will be more expensive than its predecessor despite some downgrades.
The Realme model will be unveiled in India on August 12. The phone’s microsite is now live on the brand’s official website, confirming some of its details, including its design.
A tipster also rounded up the specifications of the phone in a recent post, including its MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a 50MP main camera, a 5MP selfie camera, a 7000mAh battery, 45W charging support, a 6.8″ HD+ 144Hz LCD, and an IP65 rating.
Notably, the tip also says that the device will start at ₹25,999 for its 4GB/128GB configuration. The phone is also said to come in 6GB/128GB and 6GB/256GB options, priced at ₹27,999 and ₹30,999, respectively.
To recall, the Realme 15x debuted with a ₹16,999 price tag for a 6GB/128GB base option. This translates to a ₹11,000 hike for the same configuration.
Even more, it is important to note that the current X model features the same chip and battery capacity, a selfie camera with a higher 50MP resolution, faster 60W charging, and higher protection ratings (IP66, IP68, and IP69).
