A leaker has shared the alleged debut timelines for the Redmi 17 series, Redmi Note 17 Pro series, and Xiaomi 18 Pro series in India.
Xiaomi is expected to announce several devices in India in the second half of the year. This includes the Redmi 17 series, which is said to be coming on September 5. To recall, the vanilla Redmi 17 phone recently debuted in China with a Unisoc T8300 5G chip, a huge 6300mAh battery, a 6.9″ HD+ 120Hz LCD, Xiaomi HyperOS 3, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, 15W wired charging, a 13MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 17 Pro series is reportedly set to be official on either September 18 or September 20. The standard Redmi Note 17 5G recently debuted in India with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chip, a 10,416mm² graphite cooling system, a 6.9″ 120Hz AMOLED, storage expansion support up to 2TB using a microSD card, 45W wired fast charging, 22.5W wired reverse charging, an 8MP selfie camera, and a 50MP main camera.
Ultimately, the Xiaomi 18 Pro series is expected to launch in India in December. As the tip reiterated, the phones will come with a secondary rear display. This is the same feature in the China-exclusive Xiaomi 17 Pro series. As previously reported, the screen will get new features, including more AI capabilities.
