Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao has announced that the Vivo X500 series will officially arrive next month.
According to the executive, the lineup will include the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. He also shared some highlights of the series, noting that its main upgrade will be in the camera department.
The system will include the “Zeiss Ultra Dynamic Main Camera,” developed in collaboration between Vivo Blueprint and Sony. The 50MP 1/1.28″ BluePrint Guangyu 900 is allegedly capable of delivering the industry’s highest dynamic range of 17EV. Moreover, it is said to support 4K 240fps slow motion and 4K 120fps HDR video with direct HDR output.
According to rumors, the main camera will feature a 3° OIS with gimbal-level stabilization and CIPA 7.0 professional stabilization. The series is also allegedly adopting the same 200MP Thanos telephoto lens from the X300 Ultra.
As per earlier reports, the X500 series will initially include the Vivo X500e, X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max. Previously, we also heard about the X500s and X500 Ultra, but these models are expected to arrive separately, likely in the first half of 2027.
Reports say that the vanilla model will feature a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chip, a triple 50MP rear camera system, and a 6.59″ OLED. The Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max will get a 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro series chip and a triple 200MP camera setup.
