According to a tipster, the Redmi K100 Pro Max has significantly outperformed the K90 Pro Max during its first seven days in the market.
The new Redmi lineup is now available in China and consists of the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max. Earlier reports indicated early success for the models on their first day on the market.
Now, new figures from Chinese blogger @RDObservation show that the Pro Max variant has outdone its predecessor over the same period by around 135%.
However, it is a different story for the Pro model, which allegedly sold only 70% as much as the Redmi K90 did during the same period.
In general, the new K series reportedly achieved 95% of what the earlier series had sold during the same number of days.
In related news, while the Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max are China-exclusive, they are expected to be rebranded globally as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra, respectively. As per leaks, however, they will have smaller batteries. Moreover, the Pro model will be offered in black, green, and white colorways worldwide. The Ultra, on the other hand, will be available in black and red variants. A leak says the Poco F9 Pro could cost around €799 ($927), while the Poco F9 Ultra might sell for €999 ($1160).
