Vivo has unveiled the actual design of the iQOO 16 and has started accepting pre-orders for the phone.
The news follows earlier leaks about the device, which is said to feature a new design. Now, the brand has confirmed the matter by releasing the first official photo of its rear section.
According to the poster shared by the company, the phone boasts a square camera island that encases three circular camera modules. The lenses appear to be connected, forming a V shape.
The material also confirms one of its colorways called Chasing Light, which creates stunning effects when viewed from different angles. According to the brand, it is possible through the laser holographic imaging technology.
The phone will be offered in Track, Legend, and Light Chaser colorways. It is also expected to arrive in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations. In China, the phone is now available for pre-orders.
According to earlier reports, the iQOO 16 will also arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, a dedicated chip, a 50MP main camera, a periscope telephoto unit, a 6.85″ Samsung 2K 165Hz display with ultrasonic scanner, an 8500mAh battery, 100W wired charging, wireless charging, and IP68/IP69 ratings.
