A reliable tipster has claimed that the Huawei Mate 90 series is now being released offline. The tip also includes the color and configuration variants of the series.
Huawei will have its HarmonyOS Smart Mobility New Product Launch event on September 28 in China. According to a recent report, the Mate 90 lineup will arrive in the country on September 29, though the brand has yet to confirm the matter.
Amid the wait, leaker Digital Chat Station says in a recent post that the Mate 90 series models are now being rolled out offline, probably in preparation for the debut.
According to the tip, the vanilla Mate 90 model is available in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB configurations, while its colors include Black, White, Pink, and Green.
The Pro has 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB variants, available in Black, White, Orange, and Green shades.
The Mate 90 Pro Max comes in two RAM/storage options: 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB, and is available in Black, White, Gold, and Green.
Ultimately, the Mate 90 RS Edition will come in Black, White, and Red, and in 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB configurations.
According to reports, the Mate 90 series is reportedly adopting a teleconverter attachment. The smartphone series itself is also said to adopt a new design. This is somewhat expected, especially if the lineup is indeed getting a teleconverter support. Tipsters claimed that the high-end Pro Max and RS models will have upgraded camera systems. A tipster noted that there would be two 50MP periscope telephoto cameras, with one featuring 10x optical zoom. The series is also said to be getting ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors.
Recently, we also heard about the Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max, which will have a 200MP 200MP 1/1.28″ SmartSens SCC85XS telephoto lens with 4x lossless zoom and a dynamic range of 83dB. Additionally, it will offer a 50MP RYYB 1/1.28″ main camera with a variable aperture and an anti-glare coat. Unsurprisingly, the Red Maple lens will also be present in the system.
