The Vivo T5 Lite 5G and Vivo T5 Pro 5G have welcomed their latest base variants in India.
The news came amid a series of price hikes by several brands due to the industry’s memory crisis. Worse, some models were even slapped with multiple price increases in recent months, making them less attractive for some buyers.
To address the issue, some companies have resorted to offering the affected models in lower configurations. The latest to adopt the strategy is Vivo.
According to the updated listings, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G and Vivo T5 Pro 5G now have lower RAM/storage variants.
The Lite model now comes in 4GB/64GB, while the Pro model has the new 6GB/128GB variant.
Currently, the official prices of the phones remain unknown, as the numbers on their pages are just placeholder prices.
Yet, they can be expected to be cheaper than the phones’ earlier base models.
To recall, the Vivo T5 Lite is currently available in 4GB/128GB (₹20,499), 6GB/128GB (₹22,999), and 6GB/256GB (₹26,999).
The Vivo T5 Pro 5G, on the other hand, comes in 8GB/128GB (₹41,999) and 8GB/256GB (₹46,999).
