Xiaomi has just made it easier to connect with Apple’s devices with the upcoming HyperOS 4.
The update will bring several OS improvements to Xiaomi devices, alongside some new capabilities. One includes the deeper Apple system integration, allowing users to easily connect and exchange files between their Apple and Xiaomi devices.
For instance, Xiaomi phones can now easily share photos, files, web pages, and contacts with iPhones. Viewing photo albums in the cloud is now also possible with the update. With the Mi Connect Desktop, Xiaomi smartphones can now also be accessed on Mac and iPad devices.
Xiaomi will also bring other impressive features in the Xiaomi HyperOS 4 beta update, such as the Inspiration Ball, a draggable contextual tool that highlights text and images for actions like product searches and map navigation. The brand also noted that it has AI features for calls, allowing users to answer incoming calls through its Xiao AI voice chat, and it will summarize the key points after the call.
