Bad news: the Realme 16 and Realme 16T have just received another price increase in India, following a series of earlier adjustments.
The Realme devices arrived in the country in the second quarter of the year. That time, the vanilla mode debuted with a base price of ₹28,999, while the T started at ₹29,999. Weeks after that, the brand made some adjustments. Just last week, after the hikes, the standard and T models were already being sold at base prices of ₹36,999 and ₹30,999, respectively.
Now, Realme has made another change, further increasing these prices. The base model now starts at ₹41,999, while the T model now has a base price of ₹31,999.
Based on these numbers, the Realme 16 has already received a ₹13,000 to ₹14,000 ($137 to $148) increase (depending on the configuration) since its debut. Meanwhile, the T variant is now ₹2,000 ($21) pricier across all configurations than at launch.
