According to a new tip, only two Oppo Reno 17 series models will debut in India. Sadly, the Pro variant is not one of them.
The rumor mill for the next Reno series has already started spinning. According to an earlier report, the Pro model will not go global, and a new leak reiterated this, specifically claiming that India won’t get the variant in question. Nonetheless, as in the past, the market is reportedly welcoming the vanilla Reno 17 and the Reno 17c.

According to leaks, the vanilla Reno 17 will have a similar design to the Reno 16, featuring a square camera island with an internal pill-shaped element. The phone is also reportedly almost similar to its predecessor, including the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and cameras. The only upgrades coming to the phone might be the newer ColorOS 17 and a larger battery. To recall, the Reno 16 in India has LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 6.31″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup (50MP main camera with OIS + 50MP ultrawide + 50MP telephoto with OIS), a 50MP selfie camera, a 6700mAh battery, 80W charging, and ColorOS 16.0.
The C variant, on the other hand, is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, while the Pro model will house the Dimensity 8550 SoC. The Pro model is also rumored to feature a 6.32” flat 1.5K OLED, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP telephoto, a 50MP selfie camera, an IP69 rating, a 7000mAh+ battery, and 80W charging.
