Xiaomi has provided more details about the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra, including its four color options and additional camera samples.
The Xiaomi flagship model is set to launch on Christmas Day in China. Recently, the brand provided us with the official posters of the phone, revealing its black, white, and green variants. Now, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing has showcased the phones, along with an additional fourth purple color option called Cool Smoke Purple. According to the executive, it will be the thinnest Ultra model in the series, measuring 8.29mm, which is 11.3% thinner than its predecessor.

According to rumors, it will feature a 1″ OmniVision OV50X LOFIC Gen 3 f/1.67 main camera and a 200MP f/2.9x 14mm-100mm periscope with 3x to 4.3x continuous optical zoom. It is expected to also use a 50MP OV50M or 50MP S5KJN5 for the ultrawide. The selfie camera, on the other hand, could arrive with a 50MP OV50M lens.
Other highlights of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra include its rumored Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a battery with an estimated 7000mAh capacity, 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging capabilities, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 rating. Sadly, the company confirmed that it will be priced higher than its predecessor.
