Alleged Xiaomi 18 design render surfaces

A render image circulating online shows what is said to be the upcoming Xiaomi 18.

The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra have yet to make their global entrance. However, the brand is already preparing its Xiaomi 18 series, which is rumored to arrive in September.

In a new leak, the purported design of the vanilla model has emerged. Interestingly, the phone sports a design that is very similar to the iPhone 16 Pro’s, thanks to its flat back panel and square camera module. The phone is also shown in a white colorway, making it more identical to Apple’s creation.

While this is interesting, this might not be the final look of the Xiaomi device, and changes could still happen in the coming months. As such, it is best to take it with a pinch of salt.

According to an earlier leak, the standard model’s screen “has increased slightly,” measuring between 6.3 and 6.4 inches. This could allow the manufacturer to include more advanced components, including the rumored 200MP periscope, a 50MP main camera, and a 50MP ultrawide.

The brand is also reportedly using two different Snapdragon chips in the series. While the vanilla model will use the regular Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 SoC, the Pro and Pro Max variants could rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
