With only a few days until the Xiaomi 13 is released, more details on device emerge. We have published the render images of the Xiaomi 13 however; these images are not official. The details we have to share with you are from directly Xiaomi.
Product manager of mobile phones in China, Cici Lao Wei, published a post on Weibo, says that she would participate in a Q&A session to answer inquiries regarding the new items. As expected, there are a lot of questions about the Xiaomi 13 in the comments.

Ceramic Rear Cover
Although the previous flagships had a rear cover made of glass, we believe that the Xiaomi 13 will also be available in ceramic. Despite the lack of information, we believe that some versions of Xiaomi 13 will only be available in China. We will keep informing as we get more information.
Xiaomi 13 Telephoto Camera and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
In contrast to the models of smartphones, we are accustomed to all Xiaomi flagship models employing the most powerful processor but it’s quite new that the Xiaomi 13 has a telephoto camera. Xiaomi features a telephoto camera in its Pro versions, but Xiaomi 13 series appears to have changed the things. The previous flagship phones by Xiaomi, vanilla Mi 11 and Xiaomi 12 smartphones lacked a telephoto camera.
Cici Lao Wei also points out on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will perform much better than Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. They also confirm white color of Xiaomi 13.
Xiaomi 13 Battery & Size
We expect two phones to be released among Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. They’re also confident at battery life of both Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13. As we shared the physical dimensions of Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi also confirms that it won’t be much different than Xiaomi 12.
