Does the Redmi K50 series have headphone jack?

Recently, Xiaomi announced the new Redmi K50 series, the newest addition to the Redmi lineup, and we’re wondering many things about them, but many forget one important feature: do they have headphone jacks? Let’s find out!

The Redmi K50 series, despite their amazing specs all across the board, and high quality, do not feature headphone jacks. We’re as sad about it as you are, and we dislike the current trend of the headphone jack becoming obsolete, and think its a stupid trend. Anyway, whatever your opinion is on the removal of the headphone jack from recent devices, its still sad to see Xiaomi follow this trend for 2 generations in a row.

However, the device is certified for Hi-Res audio, both over a Type-C adapter and Bluetooth, and the device also ships with a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter out of the box, so you will not need to buy one if you don’t already own one. The audio over the adapter sounds clean and crisp, so you will not have a bad experience with it. And since Apple first starting this trend off in 2016, 5 years later it isn’t that hard to fine cheap adapters for your phone without a 3.5mm jack.

What do you think about the Redmi K50 series not having headphone jacks? Do you hate it as much as we do, are you neutral about it, are you one of those people who want the headphone jack to cease to exist? Let us know in the Telegram chat, and we hope you have a good day!
