Red Magic founder Jiang Chao has shared that the Red Magic 12 will soon feature the latest under-display technology.
The executive shared the news after congratulating Apple for the release of the iPhone Duo, which features an under-display FaceTime selfie camera on its inner folding screen. While this might sound impressive for Apple fans, Jiang Chao underscored that his brand “has iterated and refined the under-screen camera technology generation after generation” for many years.
The executive went on to highlight that Red Magic led the trend, which the Cupertino giant has now adopted.
From the gradual popularization of our proprietary cooling fans in the industry to the current adoption of under-display cameras by leading brands, Red Magic’s innovations are being recognized and followed by more and more peers. This makes us feel honored and strengthens our confidence in innovation and our determination to serve the ultimate gamers!
In line with this, he confirmed that the Red Magic 12 series will soon arrive with the ninth-generation under-display technology. The founder also shared that the series will include the Red Magic 12 Pro model.
The series will replace the Red Magic 11 Pro and Red Magic 11 Pro+, which launched last October. To recall, the devices impressed in many areas, thanks to their Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a self-developed R4 gaming chip, up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM, huge batteries, a full-display experience, a built-in Turbo Fan 4.0 at 24,000rpm, and a liquid metal VC chamber.
