Google is offering a battery replacement program for Google Pixel 7a models that are experiencing issues with their batteries.
The news follows several reports about the Google Pixel 7a model’s battery issues, including swelling and fast battery drainage.
To acknowledge and resolve the problem, the search giant is now offering a battery replacement program in markets like Canada, Germany, Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. The US and India, however, are not covered due to the repair services available in them.
According to Google, this only applies to affected devices under warranty, and the program can only be used once. Those who are no longer under warranty, on the other hand, can choose to pay around $200. The brand also allows affected users to return their units in exchange for $450.
