Honor 500 series colors, configs revealed; Pro key specs leak

The Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro are now available for pre-orders in China, with the listings confirming their colors and configurations.

According to the brand’s website, the vanilla model is coming in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/512GB configurations. Its colors, on the other hand, include Moonlight Silver, Obsidian Black, Starlight Powder, and Aquamarine.

The Pro model, meanwhile, is available in 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB options. Its colorways include Moonlight Silver, Obsidian Black, Starlight Powder, and Aquamarine.

According to earlier leaks, the Pro model will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, along with a configuration of up to 16GB/1TB, a self-developed C1+ RF enhancement chip, and an E2 energy efficiency enhancement chip. The phone is also said to feature a 6.55″ flat 2736x264px 120Hz display, which will be complemented by a metal frame and an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Moreover, from the optical fingerprint scanner in the Honor 400 Pro, the new Pro model is said to be getting an ultrasonic sensor this time. The phone will also feature a massive 8000mAh battery, similar to its vanilla sibling, which is getting a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and a 6.55″ 1.5K 120Hz OLED. Ultimately, the Pro phone is expected to feature a 200MP 1/1.4″ main camera, allegedly paired with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. Sadly, the series is reportedly getting a price hike.
