According to a well-known tipster, the Honor Magic 9 will feature a gigantic 8000mAh battery despite its small size.
The Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro were unveiled in October last year, and we expect their successors to arrive around the same time. Amid the wait, tipster Digital Chat Station teased a compact device believed to be the vanilla Magic 9 model.
According to the tipster, the mini phone will boast a flat display measuring around 6.36 inches. Despite its size, the phone is reportedly getting upgrades, including a battery rated at around 8000mAh.
This is impressive, since the Magic 8 already has a significantly large 7000mAh cell inside. This will also allow the phone to beat other competitors in the market, including the upcoming OnePlus 15T, which is rumored to get a 7500mAh cell.
Even more, DCS noted that the huge battery is not the only highlight of the Honor Magic 9, as it will also feature a periscope unit, wireless charging, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
