Honor shared the first teaser image of the upcoming Honor Magic V5 to underscore its thin body, which is believed to be thinner than that of its predecessor.
The Vivo smartphone will launch on July 2 in China and is expected to be offered in other global markets after that. To recall, the Magic V3 is available in India, the Philippines, the UK, Germany, and more. Its successor could also be offered in the same markets and, hopefully, in more markets where Vivo has a presence, including Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.
Less than two weeks before its launch, Vivo shared the first image of the foldable. Though the device’s design was not revealed, the material shows how thin the phone is (even its protruding camera island). The brand noted that it would be the “thinnest and lightest foldable” model in the market, which means it will beat the Oppo Find N5 with a 4.2mm unfolded form and 229g weight.
Moreover, the company shared that the phone offers PC-level productivity. To recall, its predecessor has Face to Face Translation (for instant language translation), AI Eraser (image erasing capability), and Notes Live Translation (translating foreign languages during meetings and putting them into the Notes).
