Honor Win series leak shows camera module design with built-in fan

Renders of the upcoming Honor Win series suggest that the devices could arrive with a unique camera island with a built-in fan.

Rumors about the Honor GT 2 series have been circulating for months now. However, according to the latest tip, the brand has made a significant change and will now introduce the lineup in a new moniker: the Honor Win series.

This is confirmed by the brand’s latest listing on JD.com, which teases a device featuring a rectangular camera island.

It has been recently leaked through renders, showcasing it in blue, light blue, and black colorways. The Honor series is shown boasting a horizontal rectangular camera module with rounded corners. There are four circular cutouts arranged in a 2×2 setup in the left corner of the island, but one of them is not for a lens. Instead of a camera, the said cutout seems to be a cooling fan.

According to earlier reports, the vanilla Honor Win is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the Honor Win Pro is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. While both are rumored to come with a 6.8” 1.5K OLED, one of the two models could house a huge 10,000mAh battery with 100W charging.
