Honor Win to arrive with 185Hz 1.5K display

According to a new leak, the Honor Win will feature an impressive display with a 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate.

The Honor Win series will launch on December 26. The lineup includes the vanilla Win model and the Win RT. We’ve been hearing a lot about the standard model in the past few days, and the brand has finally confirmed some of them, including its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage.

A tipster also revealed some of the display details of the model, further affirming its position as a game-focused device. According to the leak, the handheld will boast a 6.83″ flat screen, which will have a 1.5K display, which will be complemented by a 185Hz refresh rate, allowing it to challenge models like the Asus ROG Phone 9 Pro. According to the tipster, the screen will also sport 1.4mm-thin bezels and 5000Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The news follows several reports that have revealed key details about the phone, including its C1+ RF enhancement chip, E2 power efficiency enhancement chip, 16GB RAM option, and a 10,000mAh battery.

The Honor Win series will also arrive with a built-in display on the camera island. According to a brand official, the fans can be turned on and off automatically.
