Honor X80 to arrive with 10,000mAh battery, Snapdragon 7 series chip, 1.5K display in December

According to a new leak, Honor is working on two 10,000mAh models, one of which is the alleged Honor X80.

Chinese manufacturers have been aggressively focusing on making their smartphone batteries bigger. One includes Honor, which is rumored to be preparing the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-armed Honor Power 2 with a 10,000mAh battery. According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the brand is working on another phone with the same battery capacity.

Although DCS did not specifically name the phone, rumors and online claims point to the Honor X70 successor: the X80. According to DCS, the phone has a rated capacity of 9755mAh, but might be marketed as a 10,000mAh model. 

The tipster also revealed that the phone will be using a Snapdragon 7 series chip and a 6.8″ flat 1.5K LTPS display. The mid-range device is allegedly launching in December.

To recall, the Honor X70 was launched in China with the following details:

  • Phantom Night Black, Bamboo Green, Cinnabar Red, and Moon Shadow White
