Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max’s alleged 8000nit OLED showcased

Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu Chengdong showed off the brightness of the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max model to fans.

The Mate 80 series is scheduled to arrive in China on November 25. In line with this, the company continues to hype up the models, including the Pro Max variant. In its recent move, the brand flaunted the powerful 6.9″ 2.5D display of the handheld.

Yu Chengdong revealed that the handheld can perform exceptionally well even under extreme daylight settings, showing great details even in direct sunlight. According to rumors, the handheld boasts a peak brightness of 8000 nits. Despite its high power, the phone reportedly has a good balance between brightness and power consumption. To recall, the company has also recently teased the series’ new 14-day battery feature, known as “Outdoor Exploration Mode.”

According to reports, the handheld’s display is Huawei’s own self-developed product, which has some eye protection technology. Other highlights of the revelation include the phone’s thin display bezels and three-hole cutouts for the selfie camera and other sensors.

In addition to the phone’s screen, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max also has a new generation communication technology for “excellent signal strength.” As reported in the past, the phone also supports wireless charging, which could also support magnetic technology.
