The Huawei Mate 80 series will feature a new Outdoor Exploration Mode, allowing the devices to last up to 14 days without charging.
The lineup is set to arrive on November 25, alongside the Mate X7. Recently, the company shared the models’ configurations and colorways, along with some sample photos of the smartphones. In its latest move, the company shared a short advertisement clip of a new battery-saving mode for the Mate 80 series.
While the video did not provide the specifics of the new feature, including the models’ battery sizes, it is suggested that it is perfect for fortnight trips.
According to earlier reports, the series will feature several upgrades, including magnetic wireless charging and bigger batteries (6000mAh). The phones are also expected to arrive with new Kirin 9030 series chips, with a recent leak showing the Pro model offering a Pro version of the SoC for one of its configuration variants.
