Huawei has finally showcased the design of the upcoming Mate X7 model. Meanwhile, new leaks divulged more details about the phone.
The Huawei foldable will be launched alongside the Mate 80 series on November 25. After sharing images of the Mate 80 lineup models, the Chinese giant is back to show off the design of the Mate X7.
According to earlier reports, Huawei was actually considering three designs for the camera island of the phone: hexagonal, square, and cylindrical. The last shape prevailed and is now officially the final design for the device, which comes in five color options (Obsidian Black, Phantom Purple, Cosmic Red, Cloud Blue, and Cloud White).
The company remains mum about the key specifications of the handheld, but tipsters continue to share details about it. According to the collections of tips from China, the Huawei Mate X7 is coming with the following:
- Kirin 9030 series chip
- 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and 20GB/1TB
- 7.95” 2K BOE LTPO display
- 50MP main camera with variable aperture + 50MP periscope telephoto macro camera + multispectral camera
- 5500±mAh battery (in tests)
- Side-mounted fingerprint sensor
- IP58 and IP59
- Obsidian Black, Phantom Purple, Universe Red, Brocade Blue, and Brocade White
