Huawei Mate X7 going global on December 11

Huawei confirmed that the Mate X7 will make its first international debut on December 11.

The Huawei foldable is now in China alongside the new Mate 80 series. After unveiling the phones in its domestic market, the Chinese giant immediately announced that the book-style model would be introduced in the global market soon.

The announcement is currently limited to Dubai, but the phone is also expected to be announced in other global markets soon.

The Mate X7 brings several upgrades over its predecessor. Like the Mate series, it features the new Kirin 9030 chip, a bigger battery, and an enhanced camera system. The protection ratings of the phone have also been beefed up, with the device now boasting IP58 and IP59 ratings. Even more, it is now thinner and lighter (4.5mm unfolded, 235g) compared to the foldable series’ last generation, and has a 20GB RAM option.
