Several key details of the Huawei Nova 15 have leaked, with a tipster noting some upgrades to the device.
The Huawei Nova 14 series debuted in China in May and arrived globally in September. Now, the Chinese giant is reportedly preparing its successor already.
In one of the first leaks about the lineup, a well-known Chinese tipster shared some of the vanilla model’s key specifications.
According to Smart Pikachu, the phone will arrive with a new Kirin chip. Huawei is known to keep its SoC details secret. Yet, if the tipster’s claim is true, it means the chip will be an upgrade over the Kirin 8000 of the Nova 14.
The handheld also reportedly has a flat display with minor curves on its edges and a metal middle frame. Its camera system allegedly features a variable aperture and a Red Maple unit. To recall, the Nova 14 series also has the multi-spectral primary color lens for enhanced imaging. In front, the Huawei Nova 14 will feature a dual selfie camera system with some AI features.
Ultimately, the phone is expected to have a battery with a capacity of 6000mAh. Its charging speed, meanwhile, has been upgraded. To compare, the Nova 14 has a 5500mAh battery with 100W charging support.
Soon, we expect to hear more about the series. Stay tuned!
