Huawei has confirmed that the Nova 16 lineup will be unveiled on the first day of June. In line with this, the brand also shared the first poster of the Pro model’s design.

The material flaunts the rear design of the Nova 16 Pro, which is slightly similar to that of the Nova 15 series. It still has a horizontal rectangular camera island, but now features two protruding circular modules. According to the Chinese giant, the color variant shown in the material is inspired by the reflection of a summer pool, and is called ‘Sky Blue.”
The series is expected to include vanilla, Pro, and Pro Max variants. The Nova 16 series phones will be available in plain black, white, and blue, but the vanilla and Pro will get additional gradient options.
According to earlier reports, there will be no Ultra model in the series. Instead, we’ve been hearing news about the Nova 16 Pro Max instead, which is said to come with a 200MP 1/1.28″ main camera. This opposes an earlier claim that it would instead have a 50MP 1/1.3″ primary unit. In other areas, the Pro Max phone is rumored to boast a Kirin 9000-series chip, a 6.84″ 1.5K LTPO display, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 7000mAh battery.
